Josh Barfield will be starting tonight at 2nd batting 9th. It's about time, Wedge. It's about time. Maybe, maybe now, we can get some offense from the middle infield. I have more confidence in Barfield now than I have Cabrera. And I was on the Asdrubal fanwagon last summer. But with the guy looking like he's swinging for the fence every time, when he's truly a contact hitter is a sight for sore eyes.
If this slump continues, someone has to call for Derek Shelton's job.
